Pittenweem isn't blessed with a multitude of overt tourist attractions, but this certainly is one. Think what you like about the rock beds and the Holiness of the water coming from the spring at the back, it's a really cool cave in the middle of...More

A fascinating and interesting place to visit - it has a beautiful atmosphere and is somewhere I had been meaning to visit for years - well worth a quick look around!

Collect the key from the nearby Cocoa Tree Cafe to visit this fascinating cave that was occupied by monks from the Isle of May some 600 years ago. What implements did they use to hack out this solid rock? Walking round inside does not take...More

Got the key from the local shop and walked down to the cave . Well enough lit and as caves go interesting . Care needed on going down the stairs but notice is given . Interesting information about St Fillan and St Adrian .

This was a strange little experience but not worth a detour off your route. Pittenweem is a beautiful little town so if you are there anyway, it's fun to see the cave and only costs a pound. The kids liked the mystery of it but...More

Read a review & had to visit. Fascinating little cave with so much history. Access by key is £1 each, which goes to the local church. If you’re in the area it’s a must visit place

Get the key from the chocolate shop. Nice place to visit and should only take 10 minutes to look round. Steep hill and steps down but worth it.

A small cave apparently inhabited by St Fillan. A pound to visit you get the key from the cocoa tree which is worth a visit in itself. Nothing much in it to be honest but was interesting. We spent about 10 min there.
