We really enjoyed our visit to Tangkuban Perahu. Yes the price is ridiculous for non locals compared to locals. We had to pay 200, 000 (IDR) compared to 20,000 (IDR) for locals which is a shame but it's just one of those things. The volcano...More

The view at the crater was stunning. However, not sure if the entrance fee of 200,000 IDR per pax (SGD 20 per pax) + car fee of 25,000 IDR (approx SGD 2.50) as our driver drove us all the way to the crater). Thank godness...More

If you don't know, what you're getting yourself into beforehand (like we did), you'll be very disappointed or even angry... Foreign visitors pay ten times as much as local visitors (Rp 300.000 instead of Rp 30.000), which can still be regarded as fair. Foreign visitors...More

Unfortunately, There's no hotel near Tangkuban Perahu. You can find a hotel in Bandung, because Tangkuban Perahu is not in central of Bandung city. as my experience. Thanks. Just for tips : Use private car to easy go here.
