Having come to the Halloween train of terror and the christmas train trip we definetly wanted to come back. Luckily for us, we won a trip on their raffle. We had won the chance for our dad to have a morning learning to drive one of their trains, and it was fantastic. For nearly 4 hours my dad learned all... More

We visited last year and could not wait to come back again this year. We had a lovely day out and it was also great to see some more play activities for the children at Eyethorne station such as the bouncy castle and play house which were not there last year. We had a lovely walk through the woodland and... More

Visited on easter Saturday and I must say we had a fantastic time. The volunteers did an amazing jobmak8ng sure everything ran smoothly. There has also been a lot of improvements to the site since we last visited. Our boys enjoyed the easter hunt at both stations and loved the train ride. Both of them dressed as Harry Potter pretending... More

We had a fantastic time at the EKR Easter event, which was offering rides for £1.  Amazing value and loads to do. We bought our tickets as soon as we arrived and were told we would be able to go on the 12 pm train which gave us an hour to explore the grounds and do the Easter egg hunt... More

We visited today for their £1 event. I've passed many times but thought we would visit as my 2 1/2 year old loves trains. I was absolutely shocked how much was was going on and how busy it was at both stations. An absolutely great day out, all the staff were so friendly and so much to do.

What a gem of a place! Visited on Easter bank holiday weekend when a special event was on which added to the entertainment, but there is plenty to do there without this. The ride on the old trains are good value, and there are a couple of enjoyable miniature railways to ride on too. At both stations there are small... More

We were really looking forward to our day here but was very disappointed as we waited for almost half an hour and were no where near getting on a train. Pre-booked tickets filled both trains which came and went even though the website said booking not necessary so people without tickets were queuing for a long time and then being... More

Thanks for your review. We take all comments into consideration. I would like to say that there was no prebooking in advance for this event, it was a case of queuing for tickets and being allocated a time to come back for a train. The demand for this event was huge as a ticket was only £1 per person! We... More

Visited here today. What a lovely little gem of a place. Please visit. A lovely site with interesting walks, super trains to look at and a wonderful cafe. The site is open fully the beginning of April. Go and take a look, it will not disappoint.

This is the best Santa train in Kent!!! Everyone is so friendly and my boys aged 4 and 5 thought it was amazing. We love santa's reindeer dog and the new train carriage is decorated perfectly. This is our second time on the Xmas train and has become part of our Xmas traditions. Wonderful day out for everyone and fantastic staff.... More

Our second year on the Santa Train with our children (8 & 5). Brilliant and fantastic hosts - thank you. Better than the other Santa trains in Kent.
