Brockhampton is a huge rural estate with ample walking an views for miles over the surrounding countryside. Well worth a visit on its own, but the jewel at the centre of the estate - a good mile's drive from the main road - is the...More

A beautiful manor house with the ruins of a Norman church set in extensive grounds. There are about ten rooms in the house, each set out to represent a different period in its history. The National Trust seems to be less hands off than it...More

Upon arrival I was taken by how picturesque this was. It was a lovely day which helped but the house itself with the moat around it and a profusion of flowers is quite lovely. There were also lots of families with young children present for...More

We called in here after a not so good visit somewhere else. So glad we chose here as it is a lovely spot, great drive down to the house, stableyeard cafe (great coffee served by two lovely ladies) and some lovely walks.

This visit was the highlight of our trip around Herefordshire. A beautiful house in an idyllic setting. A very quiet setting with friendly helpful staff to answer any questions.

We dropped in en route to our holiday destination, so didn't explore any of the lengthy walks on offer. The house is not especially large, but has masses of charm and interest, to the extent that we would have loved to live there. The gatehouse,...More

An absolute National Trust gem. The medieval manor is just delightful, however popping into the lodge/gate house is rather an odd experience... the floors and walls are on such a slant that your actually feel drunk and totally loose you centre of gravity! Being avid...More
