Had a wonderful time on the tour with our guide Justin. He was hilarious, with a wealth of knowledge both archaeological and mythological. Uisneach is a very special place, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and many historical gems to discover. HIghly recommend!

One of the best tours we have ever been on. Lovely mix of archaeology, history and mythology while taking a walk through some beautiful countryside. Our guides Helen and Marty were both very passionate and knowledgeable on the land and its history. Lots of laughs as stories were told.

Learning about the mythology of Ireland. Great tour very informative and the views are breathtaking. Eire is truly a wonderful country and Uisneach is another treasure I have uncovered. Visit Westmeath app is helping me discover what is on my door step. Thank you to Liz and Justin for a fantastic few hours. Totally recommend this tour to all.

We went there as a family - our daughter is 9. We all enjoyed the tour - beside just taking in the natural beauty of the area, we appreciated the informative tour. Justin was open to questions and patient, respecting everybody's different walking speed and interest. He engaged with the children too. Whether you are interested in the historical side, or the mythology you are bound to find something interesting. The walk is long, but not strenuous - only thing I'd say if you bringing little ones, maybe carry a sling with you to carry them if needs be (as well as weather proof, but hey that's Ireland, so that's a given!).
