Fantastic visit to this lovely vineyard. Our guide, Lauren, was so knowledgeable and informative. The wine tasting was great and would recommend the Malbec dessert wine! Beautiful place, friendly people, good wine - what more could anyone ask for?

We learned so much at this vineyard/winery. The guide was excellent, explaining things beautifully for the layman.

We visited Chateau de Chambert this morning and cannot rate the experience highly enough . We were lucky enough to be the only ones on the tour ( my husband & I ) our guide Lauren was very welcoming and friendly. She is passionate about winemaking and was very informative about the Chateau's organic bio dynamic methods . We were... More

Friends of ours were already aware of the wine from this château and we were subsequently triggered to make a visit by an article in the "Quercy Local". The welcome was warm and informative. Our efforts in French were respected - although English may have been easier for all! We left with a selection of wine for both everyday and... More

Being on vacation in the Cahors region we thought we would look for a vineyard. After a bit of searching online we ended up going to Chateau de Chambert. We have not regretted that decision. As we arrived we were greeted first with a superb view and then by a nice woman from New Zealand. Several wines were tasted and... More

If you are looking for a vineyard to visit in the Cahors region, look no more. A beautiful setting, welcoming English speaking, knowledgable staff and fantastic wine. We went on a Sunday - the only day they do not do a tour, and had a great visit. Try to go on another day to see the operation. Bistro has a... More

Great vineyard love the fruity desert wine. Super place to go, and local to the family so a bonus, believe that they also do a lunch menu in the summer so will try it next year when visit again 😀

Had a tour and a wine tasting, followed by a light lunch on the terrace. Really a good idea to spend a few hours there. Passionate 'tour guide' explained all about the wine making.

We had been to a number of Cahors vineyards in mid June 2015. Many of them are biodinamique similar to Chateau de Chambert. Bought the 2009 Grand Vin, now cellaring in New Zealand. I see that just got a rating by Decanter magazine as one of the worldwide 50 best buys of 2015 for wines of 95 points or greater!... More
