A fantastic family owned vineyard. Very passionate, knowledgeable and friendly. Not usually a dessert wine liker but Mitchell's was soooo good. The Old Liqueur Riesling is worth tasting. So pleased that we visited.

Nestled at the back of Sevenhill on Hughes park road this family owned winery is not to be missed when sipping your way through the Clare Valley. With a quaint cellar door and wines that speak for themselves. I love their current Riesling and the Pepper Tree Shiraz.

It adds to the experience after travelling some of the 'country' roads to get to the winery. The wines are excellent and I always leave with a few bottles of the Peppertree Shiraz ( I am also a big fan of the Sparkling Shiraz). It is a small cellar door, and it adds to the atmosphere.

Called in here to have a taste or two. The young girl behind the counter was lovely and had a good knowledge of the wines. We came away with a few bottles under our arm.

Peppertree Shiraz has been a favourite for a long time. A sensational old world cellar door. Jewel of the Clare Valley.

We were visiting the area and decided to stop. Very friendly hostess who allowed us to inspect the wine making process. We sampled some wines and we purchased a carton as it was amazing. It is a great red.

The very pleasant, friendly owner gave us expert advice on the type of wine to buy a friend wh is very particular about his wine. Nice atmosphere in the winery.

Good wines, especially the desert wines, good parking and interesting history. The side road trip is picturesque as well.

So glad we called by to see the home of one of our perennial favourites, Mitchell Peppertree Shiraz. It was lovely to learn more, but especially good to taste and invest in their outstanding McNicol Shiraz. Incredible depth from vines on the slopes behind the cellar door. Aged to perfection, this wine was a Clare Valley bonus, as was lunch... More
