The Irish Military War Museum and family park, offers a fascinating insight into Irish participants' involvement in both World War One and World War Two, as well as other military conflicts in world history.

The Irish Military War Museum, covering 5,000 square feet of floor space, will represent a distinctly non-political but 'must see' educational and historical resource for people of all ages and from right across the island of Ireland and beyond.

We went here with high expectations and we weren't disappointed. Our 1.5 and 3.5 year olds had a fabulous time. Main museum area is just as good as any in France if not better given you can actually interact with many items. The playground for kids was fantastic with the maze being the highlight. The owner kindly brought us down... More

Very interesting and informative museum. William the owner was very knowledgeable and interactive with visitors and really knows his stuff and can answer any question seemingly with regard to WW1 and 2. He has built up a fine collection of memorabilia and artifacts and there is more to come in the next couple of months with the new extension. Great... More

"Welcome to the Madness" as William the owner would say, If your into military history this is a must and if your not you will be when you leave. Myself and a friend went to do the tank driving. We went into the museum and after a few minutes we met William, we got talking and within 5 minutes my... More

My son got this as a Christmas present...He was initially nervous but after one lap of the course and the instructor ( William) making him feel at ease with his wit, encouragement and great character he was flying around with confidence! If you are looking for a new experience this is definitely for you.. Well worth a visit!

It's very hard to find a place which is both fun and educational and on top of that makes you feel so welcome! Amazing day out for the kids. Highly recommended it!

Absolutely lovely trip, well worth a visit. And as if the displays aren’t already the best you have ever seen (and soon to get better!) your tour guide will bowl you over with his fantastic knowledge of both History and the working of the equipment, like only a soldier would know. Next trip is already in the planning. To also... More

My wife surprised me for my birthday with a tank driving lesson with William. A highly recommended brilliant experience for any man with an interest in tanks, military equipment of every sort and just a need for fun. William is a great character and a fountain of knowledge and has built up such a fantastic array of WW1 and 2... More

Excellent for people with an interest history. Great guided tour, tour guide patient and interactive with the kids he allowed them to ask questions and tell stories. Were able to handle some of the exhibits and got a sense of the weight of them and what it would have been like to carry them. Tank driving a must, great experience... More
