beautiful clean sands , some of the best sunsets in wales, summer,or winter time.visit franco chip shop , on the front.( sit in, or take away.) Dogs are allowed on the sands during winter period, any negative points? well steelworks in the distance,not a problem does,nt obstruct the seascape views. and the air is rather clean these days thanks to... Love the beaches around this area, sandy and clean. Views are hindered a little by Port Tablot Steelworks but at night the steelworks do look nice.

Sunday saw the local charity NSA Afan and the Coastal Community Team organise a competition - Its a knockout - the event was a tremendous sucess - plenty of laughs and strange activities - well done to all who signed up

The golden sands of aberavon beach are a must for beach lover,s they are three miles long , aberavon also have a promenade popular with walkers, joggers, cyclists, there is a children's paddling pool , bouncy castle, trampoline,s , play areas, crazy golf, there's a leisure centre with a swimming pool, next to this there is a cinema, there are... We haven't been here for a good few years, when we arrived i was stunned to find they have really improved the beach front, gorgeous play areas with modern activities, really had an american feel ( we love florida). forget other ice cream places - the Mashfields ice cream at the mini golf course was just superb!! clean and tidy hut, could not fault it

Lovely beach three miles long. plenty of parking area and good fish and chips. there is a cafe looking over the beach plenty of places to sit and admire the views. play area for children, crazy golf at a small charge. over all its worth a visit.

Have not been for years pleasant surprise nice areas to sit and eat beach was clean. Parking was easy would go again great views ideal for young and old flat area.
