Beautiful views of Swansea Bay

Beautiful beach with added bonus of an indoor leisure complex, cinema, restaurants and popular fish and chip shop right on the sea front!

The food is terrible. Everything fried. No imagination for food intolerance such as dairy. No alternatives provided on the dinner menu. The breakfast used to be amazing here with layed out fruit, now it's all in a very tired looking fruit salad. Soya milk was provided but over all the food standard had dropped in the years since I first... More

This beach is in desperate need of shops, like they used to have when I was a small child. The shop where you can get a candy floss or a bucket & spade kind of shop.

Underestimated beach due to locality of industry, but huge stretch of great sand, as good as Swansea, much quieter. Nice coffee shop on prom, or hotel (Best Western) does great snacks, Good prom to enjoy, if don't want to walk on sand

Quiet, flat beach with a lovely walk along the promenade. Not too many pubs and no arcades . . . and all the better for that!

This seafront has improved leaps and bounds this year from the opening of the authority run pool and leisure facility to crazy golf and a great range of restaurants from Francos, BK and the ever popular Cafe Remos, not forgetting the Cinnamon Kitchen to add a little spice

I go to Aberavon very regularly and the council are doing so much to spruce it up and draw in visitors. Huge long beach and although it has Tata Steel at one end, don't let this put you off. Lovely long prom with plenty of seats to sit and admire the views. The newish sea themed gardens at one end... More
