Drove up from Brisbane to Australia Zoo. Easy to find. Huge Zoo where all the animals have loads of space to run around. Take a selfie with a Kangaroo. Mrs Irwin and her two kids were doing the Crocodile feeding. When the big Croc launches himself out the water, your heart stops. lol. Loads of staff on hand to answer... More

We had great experience at the zoo. Zoo mainly has Australia animals. You also have an opportunity to take photos with Koala and Python!!! My husband idealizes Steve Irwin so I took him to the zoo. We really enjoyed all the pictures and articles about Steve and Terri and their adventure on the walls!!! My husband got all tearful look... More

I hadn't been here for about 15 years and it's certainly grown in size. They have added a lot more props around the park like giant crocodiles and dinasours which are quite cool. You can do a lot of walking so take comfortable shoes. The Africa section and Bindi's island were quite a walk, but worth a visit. I like... More

I had last been to Australia Zoo 10 years ago and this time went there with my partner. When we first arrived we decided to tour the Wildlife Hospital before going into the zoo. This hospital was built by Steve to honour his mother Lyn and we had a wonderful time - for a gold coin donation we got to... More

My Wife had been here around 10 years ago and I also wanted to see it as she had a great time . We drove up from the Gold coast and arrived around 11:30am . It was packed so not much room in the carpark . The queue to get in moved fairly quickly and we were soon inside .... More

We took our 4 boys aged 11-17. It is an immaculate zoo with fantastic, interactive staff. The midday Wildlife Warriors show is the highlight and best to get there 20 mins early for shaded seats. Its the perfect time for a lunch break. It was a hot and humid day but there is shade, water stations and water mist sprinklers... More

You would be mad not to have a great day out here. There is so much to see and do. Hands on feeding of animals. The birds flight around the arena. The crocs are awesome. You need to spend the whole day just to see everything. Great friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Good signage to different areas. Definately a day... More

We planned a trip to Australia Zoo after recommendations from friends. It was something we did for the children as I am not a huge animal lover. We planned to do coloundra and the Glasshouse Mountains on the day also... Instead we ended up there for 7 hours as there was so much to see and do. The shows were... More

Not enough signage. With a disability I didn't want to use motor wheel chair. Due to others who may need it more. But that's where I found lack of signs stressful. Walked places I didn't want to go. I know I sound strange but walking is very painful. Animals are ok. Not a great selection but ok. It's ok. But... More
