Fuji Q Highland is a roller coaster park with a great view of Mount Fuji in the background. If you love coasters, you have to come to Fuji Q when you are in Japan! Try these exhilarating coasters in this order: Fujiyama! Takabisha! then eejanaika (hit eejanaika last, especially if you are prone to motion sickness... or you might get... More

The rides close for bad weather so make sure you check the forecast before going if you want to go on the thrill coasters. Buy a fastpass straightaway for each that you want to ride to avoid long waits. The park is a little dated in some areas.

We visited Fuji-Q Highland on a Wednesday, and expected the waiting times to be relatively small - but we were mistaken! Although not as long as the weekends, we still waited in the Fujiyama line for 1.5 hours and others for around an hour. The three main rides are exhilarating, and although I'm an avid adrenaline junkie, they still caught... More

Long queus of line it takes 2 hr to get into the ride so better to get there early. We only able to experience the best 3 world record holder roller coaster ride and it was raining then...but a lot of exciting and breathtaking rides.

Fuji-Q has so many exciting roller coasters and other attractions. Besides it also has quite a lot equipment for those who is afraid of roller coasters. One thing i appreciate it is that visitors can buy extra tickets if they want to play more, which means you can just buy basic ticket to enter the highland and buy what you... More

I visited this place last April in the weekend. There several types of rollercoaster. With long queues..I ride the highest and one type of rollercoaster. It was fun but also scary for me because I'm afraid of heights. My suggestion is try to ride rollercoaster and get new experience...

It is a waste of time visiting this place unless you are a roller coaster rider enthusiast, even then, is it worth lining up for an hour and a half for a three minute ride? There is really nothing worth seeing there. We visited and paid the 1500 yen entrance fee and only stayed an hour. We are glad we... More

When I visited Fuji-Q Highland Fujiyama- and Dodonpa rollecoasters were closed. There was nothing about it on their website. At the ticket counter they said Fujiyama is closed because of strong wind. Didn't feel like that and forecast said 4 m/s. Of course I wasn't up in 79 metres but the anemometer's propel looked sloppy and steady. When I was... More

Basically this park only offers 4 proper rides: 3 roller coasters (the 4th one is closed for maintenance) and one horror house. Queuing for any of these take HOURS, even on a mid-week day like when we visited. To overcome that you must come before(!) 9am and when the park opens go directly to buy the "screamer passes" (the local... More
