Wow! As a big modern art fan, this could be the best I've ever visited. Easy to get to from Copenhagen Central Station, only a 30min train journey and 10min walk from Humlaebeck Station, it makes a great day trip out of the city. Located right by the sea with great views, the space itself is perfect for displaying some... More

The location is stunning, right on the coast. Peaceful with such gorgeous scenery, lovely sculpture garden and great views of Sweden. The Museum itself is brilliant, with a wide variety of temporary exhibitions, as well a showcase of their permanent collection. Shop is nice, if not a little big... We spent 5-5 hours there, luckily the cafe was lovely and... More

Fantastic modern art gallery with spectacular views across the sculpture garden to Sweden. This has been a trip highlight, on of the best modern art galleries I have visited across the world. Such a great way to finish my first day in Copenhagen.

Probably the best modern art museums in the world! The interplay between the sculpture garden, the fantastic wiew over Øresund, the island Ven and Sweden, the architecture, the permanent and often world class temporary exhibitions. Sometimes the museum is too crowded especially the cafeteria (which is quit good, although expensive and a menace when crowded), so try to visit on... More

A very chic and stylish gallery with exhibitions that are provocative and stimulating. The exhibits are displayed skilfully and sympathetically within the airy, modern structure. The garden is enchanting and the cafe superb. We will simply have to visit again to do this place justice-a superb art gallery.

What a museum! Second time here and I will always come back when I visit Copenhagen. The location is stunning at the seaside with sculptures and pretty scenery outside. Great view over to Sweden. Seeing the paintings of Daniel Richter was a unbelievable experience and the paintings are so powerful that you always will remember them.

It takes 40 minutes by a fast train from Copenhagen (and a 15 minute walk) to get here, but it is indeed a special place! The garden views and sculptures alone make it well worth a visit. (Leave Copenhagen at 10'ish, it opens at 11 am.)

Located 30mins outside of Copenhagen, easily accessible by train, this museum is entirely worth the trip. Not only for the modern art, but for the beautiful grounds and breathtaking view from the cafetria/restaurant. Louisiana is AMAZING for kids, with areas set up for your little ones to create their own art! A must visit when in Copenhagen
