岬が海にかなり突き出しているので、360度の眺望を楽しむことが出来ます。Since the cape is projecting considerably in the ocean, you can enjoy a view of 360

The view is very good as it is... read more

Because it is a rock, not a sand, its height is enough. The lighthouse can get on at 200 yen, but on the day I gave up because of the strong wind and leg pain. But you can enjoy... More

It's a bit of a climb up to the the top but well worth it. Gives panoramic views of the whole island and has some nice shortish walks around it Recommended

The lighthouse is pretty much just a lighthouse. There is a small plaque detailing the various boat wrecks in the 1940's which led to the construction of the lighthouse. What was amazing were the views of the waters/rocks at the end of the cape. On the right hand side, were huge waves crashing against the coastline. On the left hand... More

North end of Miyako, the Lighthouse offers a great panoramic view of beautiful water and rock formations. It is about a 700m walk from the parking lot, but you Poke-goers may 'find' some interest, as well. Bathrooms and vending machines at parking lot.

It's a pretty lighthouse, easy walk to the top to take in beautiful views. The lush grounds are very well kept and it was a peaceful environment, at least when we went in the spring. It was 200 yen for adults to go into the lighthouse.

We came to the light house an hour before sunset, which, I think, was perfect. The sun doesn't set too nicely here, but that's also the reason it's almost completely deserted around this time. My husband and I had a nice walk. The area is vast and there's plenty to see. Picnic tables to sit and enjoy the view, trails... More

Definitely need a car to get out here but easily covered during your drive round of the island. Once parked there is a small rest area where you can buy drinks or let the kids run off steam in a play ground. To get out to the lighthouse there are two options - around a 10 minute walk or hire... We visited many lighthouses during our stay. All of which is free parking and free entry. This lighthouse is quite a long drive from our hostel. The view was pretty.
