The central Beach in Camboriu resembles more a big city than a place to relax. There are many tall buildings and between December and February can get really crowded. Sometimes people have to fight to find a place in the sand. I do recommend going there for a walk though, as there are many shops, restaurants, bars and cafés. You... More

The beach is in a beautiful location. The water is calm and the temperature of the water was very comfortable. There are many good restaurants reasonably priced. By all means try the national drink called "caipirinha". Water was dirty in the central region of the city; the north end was much cleaner.

Nice beach. Some times isn't proper for bathing but the place is beautiful warm and charming. It's the place to go for a walk, jog or just to see others.

Being the center of what happens in a city that is a favorite among locals and international guests, it is not surprising that you find a lot of shows and action going on here. Wintertime (June-July) it is rather quite, but in the summer it is crowded.

Maybe not the best beach in balneario. Still deserves 5 stars. We were 5m walking from this beach so we went a few times. It was very touristic and maybe that's why the reviews aren't as good as other beaches. The view is amazing. The water was great and at night there's no words to describe. U can see the... More

The Central beach is a great beach for walking. Love this beach, but not so much in December and January. Best to visit in March or April, not so many people and the weather is still warm. As the beach is long ..at the southern end the water is calmer and at the northern end there are more waves. Nice beach to... More

Very busy in peak times, this is a great option for those seeking Rio-style entertainment and views, without the surrounding favelas and probably about half the cost of Rio. Very nice and differing attractions at each end of the beach, well worth making the effort to see it all. A long promenade with a one-way Avenue Atlantica (Atlantic Avenue). Plenty... More

I've been living in BC for a while and it saddens me how much disorganized the city became. The buildings surrounding the beach are too tall, making the sun light last very little comparing to other beaches. It's a real state market war, where who wins is the big companies that build 60 floor buildings. The landscape is the last... More

It's crowded depending on the time of the year it's so difficult to find a good place to put our things. But I like it. Having been there almost every year until I was 25 and now that I've been living in the United States I still go there every time I visit Brazil. I recommend. It's best to go... More
