Visited the Elora Gorge yesterday. Walked a lovely trail along the rim of the gorge through a beautiful cedar "forest". A great way to spend a sunny fall afternoon! Next visit will be down the stairway into the Gorge......with good hiking shoes!

Elora Gorge has something for everyone, from nice hiking trails to expansive picnic areas, camping and interesting vistas of the river. Watching the tubers shoot the rapids provided good photo opportunities.

Hot early Fall day, but tubing is closed. Beautiful forest, nice vistas of the Grand River, but found no access to the water inside the Conservation Area. Had to climb a wire-fence to get our feet wet.

You may wish to contact the park directly. I'd guess they'd shut the front gates in which case the entire park is inaccessible.

Didnt see any cliff jumping but they did repelling, which is going down with a safety line and harness. I can't see them allowing cliff diving there just for liability reasons. They have a lot of fresh fencing put up when we... More
