Blissfully peaceful day spent at Wilsons Promontory. Walks are available for all levels of fitness. Tracks are well maintained. Emus, wombats, kangaroos and lots of native birds. Beautiful vistas were ever you look. I did a day trip but might do another if the weather hold out. Great place to take an overseas visitor. Happy days! Roads are sealed to... More

Victoria has some amazing national parks, and Wilsons Promontory is certainly one of them and a must do sometime in your lifetime. Tidal River is were you will find camping facilities and other accommodation, general store and information centre. Make sure you have a map. The park offers short or long walks for all ages and fitness levels, so there... More

We stayed near Wilson's Promontory for part of our holiday in Victoria, and spent two full days exploring various bits of it with our two children. The Wildlife Walk is well worth a couple of hours. Although it is an easy, short and flat walk we saw lots of emus, wallabies, kangaroo and wombats, including a mum and baby! Our... More

This is a must place for people who are mature lover. We went on a group tour with fun addict and it was a full on day. We visited mount Oberon summit which does offer a great view on the top however requires a bit of 45 mins hiking one way. Sweaky beach offer also a nice walk beside the... More

What a beautiful place to visit. We stayed at Yanakie Caravan Park which is a short drive to the Prom. The views are spectacular and you can choose some great walks including the one we did from the main carpark down to squeaky beach. It was quite busy (we went during Easter) so parking was a bit of a challenge.... More

A magical place worth staying at tidal river campsite rather than in the neighbouring towns. Lots of walks of various lengths and difficulties. Beaches were spectacular with breathtaking views. Could easily have filled a whole week with activities.

You can walk in any direction in this fabulous park. But if you're a serious walked, don't miss the walk across the Prom to the Cove - about 20k return, with no alternative but to backtrack, but really worth it. Camp overnight at the cove and it's only half the effort!

We weren't sure what to expect but saw Emus, beautiful beaches and rock formations. We will be back to camp and enjoy the serenity - when it's not school holidays!

A must visit for any walker or nature buffs. Wilsons Prom attracts many international visitors as it showcases our pristine flora and fauna. Don't expect luxury accommodation, as mist visitors camp. However, the latest cabins are 4 star, but no wifi or tv. But plenty of nature & walks to be done, catering for all ages & levels of fitness.... More
