Interesting tower but.....

Visited today but it's access is incredibly limited sadly to prior arrangement but you have to ring the council only in the morning Some unrealised potential

Stopped off on the way to West Malling, Not much to see and parking wasn't really available unless you park in the country park (small charge)

Not much is known about this tower or even what it's main use was for but still it's history and that I love. Yes its small and yes you need to phone on a weekday morning to view inside but guess what it's an old tower so even if you go inside it will be just a shell of the... More

If you're nearby, stop for a look. You'll need to park a short walk away at the Manor Park Country Park car lot. However, if it's not a weekday morning, you'll be unable to gain access to the interior - access is done by calling the local council office weekday mornings only.

We visited the country park and came across the tower. Was a little disappointed not to be able to see inside the tower. Have to contact the local council for morning views. The tower was interesting to look at all the same as it is part of our English Heritage. Just would have been upset if I had driven for... More

Fascinating building in need of some renovation but great location. Would make a tremendous family home with sympathetic restoration. Early viewing advised. Offers i.r.o more than you can afford.

No parking near the tower so park in the country park car park and walk back down the drive. Half way down on the left you will see a wicket gate. Please shut the gate. Walk past a few cottages on your left .and you will see the Tower. Cross the road carefully,, its a bit of a rat run.... More

An old Norman keep built by bishop Gundulf in approx 1080. Its situated by manor country park and is free to visit. Its unusual in that its free standing and not near any fortifications.

Not much to see, but worth a visit if in the area, best to park in Manor Park car park and wander across the road. Not usually open to the public, but if you are interested, you can call the West Malling Parish council on 01732 870872 in advance and arrange a viewing internally, otherwise its just a visit from...
