We went in with our car. The loading and unloading is very smoothly managed. This was our first time using the ferry. Went very well. The only thing to watch out for is, keep your car strictly in the middle of the lane you are directed into. This will help you get out easily once you are parked inside the... More

A great alternate to the puddle jumping plane flight is to use BCF Connector's bus and ferry combo to down town Victoria, BC. After a few quick pickups we travelled via the suburbs of Vancouver to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal for a leisurely cruise through the islands to Swartz Bay. Then it was back on the bus for a quick drive... More

Most coastal British Columbians are well aware that a $10 reservation is an EXCELLENT INVESTMENT when traveling between Tsawwassen terminal (just south of Vancouver) and Swartz Bay (just north of Victoria) by VEHICLE. Same advice applies when traveling between Horseshoe Bay (just north of Vancouver) and Departure Bay (Nanaimo). People who live in this area know that the $10 investment... More

Front of the line - all motorcycles get first on access - no need for reservations as you will always get on the ship. No sailing waits! When you get on first, you are able to get to the restaurant and buffet at the front of the line too! Window seats are the best! Lower fares - motorcycles are half... More

Dear Greg N., Thank you for the review! Traveling by motorcycle sure is a great way to see beautiful coastal British Columbia. While we can’t always guarantee first-on, first-off access for motorcyclists, this generally happens as it makes the flow of loading easier and is more efficient. I’m glad you mentioned the Pacific Buffet on board – it really is... More

We reserved our booking in advance. We had a truck and trailer total 50' It cost $280 one way. This is exactly what the website said it would so no surprise. We felt it was good value as it let us have are dog in our trailer and all of our equipment. Shops at the terminal make waiting easy and... More

The price is okay, compared with the rest of the world. But the lost opportunity is so sad. Poor food, lame coffee bar, seating and general set out poor. No wifi on car deck. Nothing to do other than to sit and eat. So many other things to do and see. They have a captive audience for the best part... More

I'm only giving this a 3 star because of the price tag. Great boats and friendly staff but it's use the ferry or get held hostage on the island

Hi armygirl935, Thank you for your review. We understand that fares are a very important concern to our travelers. Over the course of the past year, we offered many promotions for both vehicle and passenger fares - these promotions were applicable for all routes. Our team has been working to develop variable pricing options for future travel with the launch... More

Travelled on the ferries three times in the last week as a foot passenger with my disabled wheelchair bound wife. On each occasion the staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. As indeed were our fellow travellers who pointed out the different sights and made the journey pass too quickly. Very good value, recommended without hesitation.

Hi BC V, Thank you for your kind review! It sounds like you took advantage of the amenities on-board and had a wonderful time.
