There are many long tunnels in Norway but this with its 25 plus miles is the longest. It is well built and has 3 areas enlarged and well lit in different colors. It takes more than 20 min to drive trough but the road above...More

Tunnels in Norway can be kilometres long, 15 minutes or more to drive through is not uncommon, but this one was special. Seemingly to counteract the driving fatigue, the lighting in 2 sections at roundabouts was remarkable. Good one Norway, great example.

Nice and very long tunnel in Norway. Two parts of it are nicely illuminated and you can actually stop there.

During our trip to Norway we needed to get from Flåm to Sogndal and had a choice of traveling by either ferry or bus. We chose the bus as it had more friendly departure times, departing every 90 minutes, and would allow us the opportunity...More

You drive through this tunnel which is 25km long. There are 3 blue lit stopping ares at equal points along it. No tolls. Although there are speed cameras. It is a tunnel that is part of the road/highway system.

Normally I wouldn't count in road tunnels as attractions, however this is the longest in the world, 24,5 km. It's a fantastic piece of engineering, and it's equipped with three illuminated halls, to break the monotony (the locals use to party in them). The tunnel...More

Not sure why Trip Advisor offers a rating on this. It's a very long tunnel that gets you from Flåm to Lærdal. Glad I don't have to drive this everyday. Very long and hypnotic. Kids loved the blue party lights in the tunnel every 6km.

well, we did this twice ! First time, we were en route to Aurland, and the tunnel popped us nicely out beside the town. The second time, we had decided to travel the "snow road" (fabulous drive !) out of Aurland, taking in the Stegastein...More
