On our way back to South Africa we decided to sleep over in this town... it has the most magnificent sea views and palm trees which reminds of an island holiday... On our way to our hotel we stopped at the street markets to buy...More

This place is breathtaking, I felt like we were on a private beach that never ended. The water was crystal clear and the locals were so kind.

We went there to buy food only, which was from the local market. Small and hot with expensive food on sale and some local curios. OK for 30 mins - but not every day!

Pretty beach and safe to swim but a constants treat of traders is irritating. We were also intimidated by children to pay them for parking while they were fighting with each other. Nice for restaurants but a more quite beach will be better.

Love the pink cocktail, you buy one and get one free. Beautiful island. I advice people to go there.

Bilene has shallow waveless waters and is ideal for water sports holiday. The white beaches and warm waters make it ideal with families with small kids. When i was there though the place was overrun with quad bikes.
