One of the best things we’ve ever done

What a truly magical experience this was. A bit scary for the first minute but the sheer joy and pleasure that followed is a memory we will retain forever. This was definitely one of the best experiences we have ever had.

Lovely experience
Nov 2018 • Family
As much as there was minimal snow on the ground, it didn’t dampen our spirits, we had accepted that and was happy to go with the flow considering Inghams had been pretty unhelpful from day one.
We found the husky experience to be fun although when the reps tell you, you will be able to spend time with the dogs and you turn up to find you can’t go anywhere near them you start to question do they actually know what they are doing.
A holiday is what you make it but sometimes general unorganised and lack of skills and common sense doesn’t help from the people on charge.
I’d recommend the experience but not with Inghams go else where

There were four of us and we had a great time, this is the second time my husband and I have done this. To drive your own team of huskies is great fun.

We visited here on an arranged tour by inghams which we had an amazing time walking around meeting all the huskies followed by a ride across ideal winter wonderland surroundings topped of with a lovely hot berry juice by an open fire. Great trip!

Husky delight!
Dec 2018 • Family
We did the husky and reindeer safari which lasted around 3 hours. We started with the huskies which were my favourite as faster and exhilarating! Bit smellie at the cages and very noisy but think they were excited and eager to run! You could smooth them too and so tame. Hot berry juice and biscuits and then over to the reindeers. Great too. We all loved it but only downside was bus turned up late which meant we were out waiting in the cold. Not reps fault and they tried their best with a few games but painfully cold and many little ones were crying. My hands were sore from the cold with proper gloves, 2 pairs in fact. Other than that it was a fantastic experience. We booked beforehand with Ingham which cost around £160 for the 3 of us. Some things book up quickly so best to book if you’ll be disappointed not to do it.

Waiting for a long time
Dec 2018 • Family
We enjoyed the experience but husky ride only lasted about 7 minutes, the rest of time was looking at dogs(10minutes) in hut then 15 minutes then nearly an hour wait in cold for reindeer ride, our pick up from hotel was 1pm by the time we got on reindeers it was dark and 3:45 pm,what disappointed us the most was that the inghams rep Snowman Steve was getting people onto the bus before our experience finished, leaving our family with no photographic material from our ride, very disappointed and would never book or come to this farm again, paid a lot of money beforehand for this trip and only memories in our minds left,as it was so dark we couldn't see anything

Amazing experience!
Feb 2018 • Family
We initially booked the mini husky experience but it clashed with ski school so upgraded (at not insignifcant expense). But it meant both of us adults got a chance to drive the sled. It was an incredible experience. And we loved seeing how clever the dogs are and how much they enjoy it. A word of advice though - plenty of layers and make sure you have hand and feet warmers. We had layers and weren't cold, other than our hands and feet which ended up really quite painful and the kids were upset by the cold which marred their experience. Otherwise, wonderful!

Ok experience not sure I'd recommend

We enjoyed our trip to the husky farm but felt like it wasn't good value for money. Apart from the actual 10 minutes ride the rest of the 2 hours seemed like we could of spent our time better. The dogs and keepers obviously work very hard. Probably would have been better off doing the longer one or going for the snow mobiles instead.

Not great to be fair - Average Husky trip.
Jan 2018 • Family
We went with Inghams who used to use Maria's Husky Farm, which was fantastic, and very welcoming, but they have now changed the trips to a different farm, which was not as good, rushed, and the guide kept stopping the dogs, so it was frustrating for the guests AND the dogs.

Shame, they should go back to using Maria's farm for the husky excursions.

We did the long hisky excursion, not the small one.
