Kart driving might be familiar to you, but driving a go-kart with studded tires on the ice track is something completely different; an experience out of this world! When you book your ice karting session, we will take care of the full service; transportation from Levi center, provide you a complete winter-racing gear, go through the safety rules and driving tips, offer you warm juice in between the driving sessions. Our standard program includes 2 driving sessions. Everyone over 140 cm is allowed to drive and no previous experience of driving is required. Please note that all bookings are recommended to be made in advance.

Avoid Icekarting Levi: An Unpleasant Experience.

Unfortunately, my experience at Icekarting Levi was not what I expected. Despite booking 1.5 hours of karting, we were only allowed to drive twice for 15 minutes each time, which was not clearly indicated beforehand. This was not only misleading but also disappointing for those who wanted to spend more time on the ice rink.

What was even worse was the attitude of the instructors at the ice rink. They were very grumpy and unfriendly, and one of them even started shouting at us over a small mistake we made. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and can ruin the experience for visitors.

As a result of this bad experience, I would not want to come back to Icekarting Levi. It is important that businesses are transparent about their services and that staff treat customers in a respectful manner. I recommend that other visitors spend their time and money elsewhere, where they can enjoy a pleasant and safe experience.

A must do experience. Our boys (12 & 14 yo) really wanted to get here and they had lots of fun. It was one of the top experiences in Levi

Fantastic, that summs it up for me.
The pick up from the centre of Levi was on time, friendly driver, track is just a few mins outside of Levi.
Excellent facility, the karts on ice are sooo much fun, hot drink after the first session then back onto the track again.
Driver took us back into Levi, asked where we wanted to be dropped off, nothing was too much trouble, will definetly visit again in December 2023 :)

Real life Mario Cart!

This was so much fun! A hidden gem among the reindeer and husky safaris. Me and some friends had our husky safari cancelled for lack of snow coverage. We were lucky to find this activity and although I know I would have loved the husky safari, I think this might have been funner. Highly recommend this activity when you're in Lapland

It was an amazing experience in Lapland that one not to be missed. We were trained with video tutorials and given special shoes, helmets, suits, gloves and many other accessories. The cart car has 13 H/P engine and can speed up to 60km/h. It has a speed and safety monitor and the side of the tracks are made of 2 feet tall tick snow wall. So safety is promised.
The race was between the four of us. The sensors fitted on both sides of the track mark the laps covered and time taken accurately. After 3 or 4 rounds, we got the hang of it. . It was getting dark soon, so first we posed for some photos then move to the race. The first lap was very difficult. But we learned the technique very fast. Drifting through the ice is very tricky and lots of fun. Also a few times we crashed each other and hit on the snow wall.
Its a must-do activity on your arctic circle trip

Great fun would highly recommend. Good amount of time on the track and not too crowded too. Just a few mins outside levi too!

Really was like real life Mario Kart, an amazing amount of fun for all ages.

Make sure you really take the warmest gloves you can get though as the hands get cold

Exciting and Fun Activity

This was so much fun! I am a little risk adverse when it comes to skiing, ice skating, etc.. because I fall BUT this was so exhilarating and we all (myself, husband, another adult, two kids ages 11 & 14) loved it. It was so fun to be driving fast on ice and still feel safe while having a blast. Would have loved to see how fast I was going and who "won" but then it would be more competition focused than fun so maybe not... BUT, we would all do this again and wish there was something like there where we live to be able to do it again! The time went so quickly and wish we booked two sessions. You won't be disappointed.

Fun fun fun!

I booked this as a surprise for my husband and 9 year old boys who were just tall enough to participate.
It was so much fun! Definitely exceeded my expectations. We were all laughing and enjoying racing together…..it’s not taken too seriously. You’re guaranteed to spin and lose control but it feels safe….even for young ‘ish children.
Would definitely recommend this….in fact, we were tempted to go back again the next day! Nice fire outside to warm up in between your track time, good safety briefing and the suits/helmet/balaclavas we borrowed were all great too.

A must do for motoring enthusiasts

The exhilarating adrenaline of driving fast on ice. Perfect adventure that combines motoring and nature. It test your skill and confidence. Great service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They make sure you have the right gear and that you know the safety rules. On the track, they are also always ready to help when you get stuck on the ice barriers (it happens) so you can carry on enjoying an amazing race.
