Luvattumaa is a true find. Sheltered by the beautiful Lappish nature, Luvattumaa welcomes travellers to open their senses and experience the ice, the snow, the water, the scents and the flavours. During the winter season, snow castle the Levi Ice Gallery opens its doors for the public. Our River Spa is open throughout the year, as is the true heart of Luvattumaa - the Lappish hut restaurant.

Interesting construction. Lots of very nice ice sculptures inside. Hotel rooms very elaborated, but wonder whether it would be really nice to spend the night there :)

We went as part of our trip and it was arranged for us by our guide. It was a dream for me as I am a great Game of Thrones lover. The ice carvings are fantastic.

So nice place. Lots of work done here. Very good ideas and very good detailing. When near, You simply must visit this amazing place. There is also restaurant with ice bar but tee will be not enough to keep warm :)))

I love to stop at this place while we go on a cross-country skiing. The ice hotel is super nice and cool, visit that if you have time and enjoy the goodies at the cafeteria.

Very interesting place to visit with good service and food, it's a pretty awesome atmosphere they have created.
Wear lots of warm clothes (Ski Gear) it is after all ICE the seats, table everything. Pretty cool, literally

We decided to visit the Levi Ice Gallery as we were with our extended family, ranging from our young granddaughters to our elderly parents, and it was a much shorter journey from where we were staying In Levi and we were not disappointed. We booked a taxi and it only took around 15 minutes to get there. Beautifully carved hotel and rooms and friendly welcoming hosts. Really worth a visit :D

Amazing experience to come and see somewhere like this, such detail carved into the ice. The kids loved the ice slide and the adults loved the ice bar with the shot glasses even made out of ice!

Well worth a visit, it took our breath away. It is something so different and impressive. The hotel rooms looked amazing, maybe one day we will return and spend the night. Our kids loved exploring and the photos we have of this visit are among the best from the whole trip.

Had book the suite for 1 night, we were only 2 for 4 people staying that night. We had a tour of the Ice hotel which was very interesting. The room was amazing, we had thermal sleeping bags which kept us warm all night.

Is there snow in Rovenami in October

Hi, usually the first snow will come the end of October- first week of November here to Levi , Kittilä. But sometimes 2 weeks later. We cannot know exact days.
Rovaniemi is little further south so there can be the snow in November.

Hi,The Snow castle will be open 12.12..2019. And it´s open every day until 10.4.2020 perhaps later.

It was approximately 30euro per night for the excursion and bus transfer, you got approximately an hour and a half in the hotel. For the cheapest room if my memory serves me correctly was 120 euro per night.
