We booked all our excursions through the tourist information centre before we arrived and this service is great. However it is worth pointing out that you need to be aware of cancellation policies as there are time limits on any refunds - even cancelling well before you leave for your break has the potential to incur costs. I had to cancel one excursion due to an injury and was not able to get any refund as it was less than 7 days prior to the excursion and even then it would have been only 30%. Also you need to be aware that there are companies who offer similar excursions situated in Levi, some of their excursions are on the tourist information site some are not it is worth checking out. However we will use the services again as we are planning on visiting next year and whilst here we have been using their site to research accommodation and what is available. Overall this is a very good service but there are some things you need to be aware of.

We waited until arriving at Levi before booking any tours. We were on a ski trip and wanted to pick a day with good weather. We walked down to the tourist office and looked through the extensive collection of activities. My partner wanted to do a husky ride and I fancied a reindeer ride. We ended up finding one through the tourist office that included both. Just short rides but gave us a taste which was great. Lady was very helpful and spoke excellent English. The tour left from the tourist office and we were able to pop in and use their facilities first (toilet) which was helpful.

It’s quite a useful place for tourists! The office is a comfortable place. The staff is very nice and helpful! We’ve found all types of entertainment that we were looking for! Suitable for families, couples and singles. Highly recommend this place to visit.
