This is a beautiful river that goes next to Levi. There are nice spots by the river on which you can have a bond fire, fish, swim and go canoeing.

River Ounasjoki is the biggest free-flowing river that is entirely located within the borders of Finland. Ounasjoki has many good rapids and strong flow fish places. Grayling, trout, pike and other fish typical to northern Finland are found in the Ounasjoki. On winter time you can also cross-country ski there.
