Always worthwhile to visit churches when you are in Italy. So was this cathedral in Jesi. A perfect place to cool down on an hot afternoon.

Awsome organ music and comprehensive explanations in English!
Jul 2014 • Friends
We attended the sunday evening sung service and had the opportunity to listen to impressing organ music. There's a very big Zanin Organ which is among the biggest in the region. The organist Marco Agostinelli really impressed us with his masterful organ pieces. They have a sung service every sunday evening at 6.30 pm: very relaxing. It's the best way to colse your visit to the church. We asked the pastor a few information and he was very helpful and gave us a complete tour in English through the many hidden little treasures that can be found there: from the stately bronze gates of the church to the relics od the three saints enshrined inside the building: St. Septimius, St. Florianus and Pope Leo IV and the red marble Lions and baptismal font from the former gothic church.
