This is a temple lacking the right spirits. It belongs to a religion governed solely by men at the international level. Girls get half of the inheritance that the sons of the diseased person receives. According to teachings of the founder of this religion, men can marry two wives (some Baha'i apologists now say that law has changed by the... More

I've lived in Panama for 7 years, and always saw the bahai temple from afar. It was always on my bucket list of things to do. So finally I went, and was happy I did, but there's really not that much going on up there. It's super peaceful and zen, and there's a beautiful view of the city, but that's... More

Our host took us up to 'the egg' - it wasn't obvious to find the road up (not surprising for Panama). The walk around the building offers wonderful views of downtown and the valley where Corredor Norte runs. Make sure to read the rules about being quiet and staying off the grass (I didn't and was quickly corrected by the... More

The Metro was at the bottom of the mountain. We chose to take a taxi instead for first trip. The road up was very narrow and scenic. The Temple has an adjacent information center and library. The murals explained the faith and took you by photos to other Baha'i temples throughout the world. The temple was open air and the... More

Great walks and lots to see ... though you do need to take you time and look carefully but if you do you will be amazed at what you see. Just prey that there is not a load of US tourists around ... the concept of being quite seems to be ignored and they wonder why they don't see anything... More

Stopped by for a visit with friends. Not at all what I expected, but loved the learning experience and visitors center. Great views from the grounds of the Temple.

Continental Bahá’í house of worship of Central America in the city of Panama at the crossroad between north and South Americas as well as pacific and Atlantic Ocean. Unique view of the city, most amazingly calm and peaceful. Unique architecture with open structure allowing air to run through the main hall and creating a very special atmosphere. Place for worship... More
