This is one of the highlights i would recommend for someone in visiting Malta, these gardens are awesome, there are several birds including peacocks which freely move around. Great place to chill out from

Lovely visit. Really worth a visit. The peacocks roam around free and the scent of the flowers all around you is heavenly. I thoroughly recommend the cafe to the left directly outside the front gate to the Palace Gardens. Great for lunch or and evening...More

We were lucky to have this just across the road from our hotel. The garden itself is not that big, but is full of colour and life (trees, flowers, fruit trees, cacti, ducks, swans, tortoises, even a few free-roaming peacocks). It was perfect for a...More

We were travelling from the eastern coast to Mdina and we stopped at this beautiful garden to see where the president of Malta lives and where Game of Thrones was filmed. We were not disappointed. It is like an oasis with plenty of trees, fountains...More

I saw the peacock that I'd heard in the early morning when sitting on my balcony ! A haven of serenity.

Try to get to the gardens at least once or twice a month - so peaceful in this busy island of ours. The water features are great, especially the pond full of turtles. Very child and family friendly with parking fairly close by. Most plants...More

Very nice public gardens beside San Anton Palace, where the President lives. Doesn't take long to stroll through, but worth it for the exotic trees and vegetation alone. Many of which are labeled, with name and original country. Interesting.

This was close to our hotel and we visited on the first and last days. Lovely place to wander or sit for a few hours and relax. Very pretty, especially the seasonal planting. Free to enter so worth a visit if in the area.

These walled gardens, another British legacy, are free to enter and very well kept. Not worth a detour, but if you are in the area a pleasant place to pass a half or full hour

The best and safest way to get to San Anton gardens by bus is to go to Valletta and get the number 54 bus which stops right near the gardens
