Our experience with the resort was brilliant, Empty runs, no lines, good snow, and nice service in restaurants. My only issue was with the ski rental. We have four boys wanting to do both boarding and skiing, so we paid for the package allowing you...More

A good but relatively small ski resort. Keep in mind that It's super hard to get to Hemsedal via public transport. Food at the resort is very expensive. A good thing is that people are very polite, almost no queues at the lifts.

Hemsedal is beautiful and very "alpine". Great selection of bars, restaurants and afterski. Great possibilities for off piste skiing. Also lighted night skiing.

extremely family friendly resort with perfect snow .. the powdery stuff that doesn't stick .. people here incredibly friendly and I would definately come here again. Not the most challenging of resorts but ideal for our young family !

I like the place. I go there to ski every year. A lot of different hills with different levels, great for beginners and advanced.

No, not really. You would have to travel much further north.

Ski center is at the bottom of the slopes. There are lot of different options for lodging, check their website to see the possibilities.
