The setting is beautiful and the walk up to the top of the waterfall via a really enchanting ravine was very special. The kids loved the little adventure playground, though apart from this and the walks there is not loads esle to do, you come...More

Complete rip off for this man made dull so called waterfall. The supposed 1 hour walk can be done in about 30 minutes and the whilst the view at the top is good the waterfall itself is manufactured and dull. They dont even hide the...More

This attraction was easy to find. On first impression it was a very picturesque area with lots of greenery and a nice lake. However once you see the waterfall, which is apparently man made, there is not much else to do. Overall about 30 minutes...More

My wife's idea. I was a bit sceptical. £5.90 each slightly expensive, 10% voucher printable from website if you plan ahead. Lovely autumn day leaves turning contrasting with green ferns. Took us longer the hour stated but we paused at regular intervals to take a...More

Unwelcoming reception. Expensive walk but wonderful view from the top of the falls. A pervailing sense of decay. I would have hoped that the amount charged could have been put towards tree & undergrowth clearance to show how things would have been in the days...More

Went to Canonteign on a warm Autumn day, the walk was testing and the views were a delight. All in all a gorgeous spot and one to be enjoyed but not to time consuming, nothing really to do but walk and enjoy the countryside.

If only I had read the reviews 1st. Yes it is pretty but nothing spectacular and it is obviously man made which really detracts from the attraction of it being Englands highest. Expensive too for what it is at £5.80 each for what took us...More

We decided to go to Canonteign to fill a few hours as we were staying nearby. It is quite expensive for what it is - but then so are most of the tourist attractions in Devon! You're on holiday - things cost money! I didn't...More
