Well worth a visit to get a good idea of life in the area over the past 100 years or so. Good labelling of exhibits in English and Portugese.

Its all here... the origins of espada fishing, wicker weaving and wine production, even toboggan transportation are excellently detailed. Lovely feeling inside and outside where we pursued...More

Quite an interesting place with many historical bits and bobs, good historical interest in a modern building. Parking is not the easiest in the town but there is an open car park a couple of hundred meters away or if you prefer an underground car...More
