Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We did not book the tour through their agency when we saw how they treated their animals (fish + a turtle) that were locked up in a tank at the beach in Paleokastritsa, which is where they are also based. Their tanks were terribly dirty (they probably hadn’t been clean in a really (!) long time) and there was no extra furnishing such as enough rocks, etc for the fish and especially the turtle to feel comfortable in and to climb on (Yes, it was swimming all day!) Upon asking an employee we were told that the turtle had been there for 10 (!!!) long years and that their tanks are being cleaned every second day (which we highly doubted…). The sight of these poor creatures really broke our hearts and we strongly doubt that the manager ever received our polite request to relocate the animals. What a shame!

We hired a small motor boat for the day. It cost E50 + E20 for petrol for 6 hours and we visited all the little coves near Palaiokastritsa. It would have been perfect but for the tiny ladder into the boat. CHECK THE LADDER before you hire. We could only swim one at a time and then had to haul each other in. The ladder was only inches wide, had two bars and no hand rail. Very challenging for the average punter.

This little trip was really good. 10 euros for one hour. The boat takes you out for a distance and then you go down into the bottom of the boat and it is all glass and you can see the fish etc. It was great for children and adults.

Thought we would do something a bit different so decided to go on this boat.
We were not allowed down to the glass bottom part of the boat until we were taken out around 30 mins. We then went down to the most claustrophobic seating area to be greeted with absolutely filthy windows that you could hardly see out of.
I tried to stay down as long as I could to try and get some value from the €20spent, but my husband and I after seeing hardly anything for mucky windows came up as we thought we were going to be sick.
We just wanted to get off the boat back to dry land. Waste of time.
It's not their fault we felt claustrophobic, but in the peak season, I wouldnt want to be squashed down there.
It is criminal that they take money from you when they have not bothered to even clean the windows for you to see out of. There was a little boy so disappointed.

Very good price. I think we were out for about one hour. Beautiful sailing out and then you go down to view the fish. Lots of fish to see. Lots of space but quite hot down there in August! I hadn't realised you stay down for the whole sail back (got too engrossed in fish spotting to realise the time). I would have have preferred that they say to come back up for the return journey, as it is a beautiful coast line. Still we all really enjoyed ourselves. The staff at kiosk were very friendly, as is typical with the warm Corfu hospitality you find everywhere on the island!

Took a boat trip to the Caves with Yellow Submarine from their Paleokastritsa branch. Told when booking it was a 50minute trip which seemed OK value for the €40 cost (2 adults + a 4yr old). However trip was only 20minutes in total to a couple of caves then drop the other passengers at a beach before heading back. Spoke with staff at pay point but clearly no chance of a partial refund. Normal water taxi to the same beach is €10 return (ie two of the trips we did) and we’ve been charged €15 per adult and €10 for a child for a single trip. Nice enough trip but just desperately poor value for money.

Beautiful views of the coastline as we sailed to fish point. However, below deck was extremely cramped (not good if you are claustrophobic or don’t like physical contact with strangers) It was difficult to see the limited amount of fish through the dirty windows.
