Mosquito Refuge
Jun 2018 • Couples
My partner and I went for what we hoped, would be a nice hike to the beach. However, we were eaten alive by ferocious mosquitoes, making us race through what should have been an enjoyable walk. There are interpretive signs along the short trail, which were very interesting, as well dense cedars that seem to be a refuge for the mosquitos (joking). If you go during the summer, bring bug spray.

Good, small beach

Lots of rocks near the shore so bring some sandals. Best feature is that it’s off the tourist pathway. Dogs allowed on leash but didn’t use one :)

Looking for a quiet spot to swim
Jul 2018 • Friends
Ample parking
No facilities except for a porta potty
Rocky shore initially (suggest watershoes)
Quiet—only 5 or 6 people there
Many large boulders out in the water. I sat on one for a half hour while waves broke around me. Kinda like a whirlpool.

Sand and Water
Apr 2017 • Friends
A little piece of heaven on Georgian Bay. Lots of soft sand to enjoy with a shovel and pail or just spread out the beach blanket and have a nap with your portable music on. Water is refreshing and clear.lt is a good idea to bring water shoes. Parking is great. The Toronto crowd has not discovered this peaceful area.

nice waters here

There are small trails and shale beaches. Get your flip flops as this is not a place to go barefoot. Didn't see any washrooms etc but there is free parking

Quiet beach
Jul 2016 • Friends
This beach is further from Blue Mountain and has no food or rentals near by. It is rocky and has a small shore line. because of this it is often way less busy then other beaches in the area. there are also some short trails for walking.

Enjoy a Peaceful Interlude in The Blue Mountains
Aug 2016 • Family
Peasemarsh Nature Preserve is a quiet, peaceful little stretch of water front property on Georgian Bay. It is an idyllic setting for painters or those wishing to relax and enjoy the view. The calm waters are as amazing as the storm waves.

Excellent year round
Jul 2016 • Friends
I hesitate to recommend this lovely little beach because then it will be overwhelmed with visitors. It is best to wear water shoes because the shore entry is Rocky.
