Fabulous design of the harbour with docks and rocks to climb on. There's a playground and ice cream place nearby. Perfect place to capture a glorious sunset.

We took a quick walk down a dock one evening after getting ice cream. The views were so pretty. My daughter loved seeing the sailboats "sleeping".

Nice spot to visit after a lovely meal in town. Hot night so was very relaxing to sit at the waterfront and enjoy the view.

We have been there several times. It is a good place to stop for a picnic if you are biking the Georgian trail. There are some attractive boats in this snug harbour.

We spent a week here. From Thornbury to Meaford to Walters Falls to Wasaga Beach...it's all worth seeing. Be sure to spend a day at the Canada side of Niagra falls which is much more beautiful than the USA side.

We have a timeshare here we have owned for over 40 years. The area is beautiful and a great spot for a family holiday!

There is Greyhound bus service that operates daily between Barrie and Owen Sound and the coach passes through Thornbury. Public transport from Toronto to Barrie is abundant on a daily basis using bus or GO train service.
