My favorite place
Jul 2020
I can sit for hours just watching the water and relaxing. We usually buy lunch, eat here and enjoy the view. Fall time a lot of people fish for salmon and lake trout.

Beautiful.

The Thornbury Harbour embodies summer holiday from shore to shining shore. Clearly a hot spot for city folk visiting and worth a stroll out to the end of the harbour for some of the best views on the southern Georgian Bay, not to mention the marina. This has become a favourite spot for us and certainly worth a visit.

A nice quiet place

We have a timeshare in Thornbury and love it. It's quiet and peaceful. You want a place to collect your thoughts and get away from the hustle and bustle of life this is the place. The scenery is beautiful. There's bike/walk trails close by and a spa about 20 mins away.

Peaceful setting
Jun 2019 • Friends
We spent an evening socializing with friends on their sailboat after their tour of the waters around thornbury harbour

The weather was very calm

Everyone we encountered was friendly and greeted us

The harbour is a restful place to spend time

We hope to get back soon

Boats In A Row

Whether just enjoying the views of boats in the harbour, taking a boat tour or watching the neat Chi Cheemaun Ferry, it's a nice stop for a driving break while visiting the Bruce Peninsula

Early morning, late evening the sky meeting with the water never disappoints. Truly beautiful and very peaceful.

Nice harbour
May 2019 • Friends
Nice harbour with all the necessary services, great place for a nice walk along the water and to look at the boats. Struggled to find a coffee shop which would be ideal to look out over the water but still a nice place

A very very wide body of water Great docking facilities and fuel for boaters.
Loved the beach at the harbour and just a walk away with kid friendly play equipment.
