This is a mess. There are explicit instructions at the tourist office listing trails 4 and 5. Yet these trails and trail heads are marked with forestry numbers..15 & 16!

Great site. At some point the sky filled with different eagles and birds. Impressive and a unique chance to see these magnificient birds up and close. The aviary is situated on top of a hill so be ready to walk (pushchairs and wheelchair will have trouble going up). There are also some electrical power lines just above...not sure if this is safe for everyone. This said, the explanations were very interesting but for philistines like us a summarize printing would have been great. Highly recommended.

We visited with our 18 months old son. After a short but steep walk you join the top of the mountain. You can watch already the birds from close. Then the demonstration is 1h long. Very educative and interesting for all age. Our son was hypnotised.

This visit remains as an incredible moment, combining a proximity with the birds as never experienced, the vast knowledge and humor of our guide. And a fantastic scenery. Do not miss it if you pass by in Vallee d Aure

This spaces cares for wounded birds and re-releases or raises & keeps permanently disabled birds. A surprisingly large variety of raptors.
The chance to develop a love of birds and appreciate them close-up is a valuable first step in allowing our children to reconnect to nature. This Attraction is educational and valuable from this perspective. However I would like to see the birds given Much longer ropes for the 22hours per day the tourists are not present.
Plus flying time every day, for every bird. Or much larger cages for those not let out at all.
