Well worth a visit if you are interested in crafts or antiques, there is a vintage tea shop and lots of other small-but-interesting businesses. If you are really keen, you can bring your caravan or rent a "pod" to stay longer. The antique shops (3) are quite well organised, which limits the options for finding hidden treasure!

Have not been since they finished the revamp, first impression is that they have tried to squeeze slightly too many of the pods, or large wooden bread bins as my daughter calls them, as this is what they remind her of, into the space. Just feels a little cluttered. We were there for the shopping and to brows round the... More

We've not been for a while and it's changed considerably and gone smaller. The lovely fish and chip shop has gone. OK for a sunny day.

What a terrible disappointment we had never been here before but read on a Facebook post that they had a mad hatters tea party! Sounded good fancy dress, food stalls, drinks, competitions over 2 days Saturday and Sunday! So we set to work made a hat together with my son and went along there was 5 of us. We arrived... More

Love coming up here for a mooch round long lost treasures of the past. Site has changed a lot glamping pods where the old barns once stood. It has not lost any of its charm. Well worth a visit.

My good lady wife found this site and booked it for out caravaning weekend, little knowing it would pretty much rain none stop with strong winds, but hey we were cosy in our nice warm caravan. The camping and caravan site is fabulous with its camping field, glamping pods and hot tubs if you want them. Toilet and shower rooms... More

Stayed at this camping and caravan site the other week while visiting relatives nearby. Facilities are excellent although driveways need refurbishing. Young man in reception was very helpful about facilities. I was concerned to see that some caravaners had lit a fire in a brazier quite close to their caravan. They did this on two nights and no staff told... More

After a tortuous journey to get there - road closures on M56 and in Frodsham itself - we found a much smaller area of shops than the flyer we'd been reading had led us to believe. We were interested particularly in the craft and spice shops but whilst the former was well stocked and had some very pretty fabrics and... More

Haven't visited the site for a long time. Have never camped there, but heard a lot of positive feedback from family and friends. I really like the shops, a bit quirky and different from the norm. Thanks cafe has definitely changed. I personally preferred the old one. Not much choice but the staff were very pleasant. The book shop is... More

Visited to have a look round. This is a collection of small areas all run by different people and has featured on Antiques Roadshow. There are a wide variety of items available but it does take time to look if you have something specific in mind. It's definitely worth having a look round you never know what you are going... More
