The gallery has been operating for about 30 years in the production of artistic ceramics and as 700 years ago, only creates ceramics made and hand painted. This shop is a little jewel in the commercial landscape of Montelupo. The owner Salvatore Mirenda, creates objects with the ancient technique of the lathe, the activity that takes place over 35 years, after he inherited from his father Sebastian, a master potter. Salvatore continues the family tradition of working with clay, enriching it with new shapes and decorations. Our production is not limited to the reproduction of classical works, but adds that touch of creativity, originality and quality that distinguishes our work. The gallery offers the opportunity 'to order and buy directly from the factory or via email.

Skip the line tickets make a big difference. The entrance lines are confusing, so be very careful about which line you stand in. The main attraction here is definitely David. I took my time soaking in all the different angles and parts of the sculpture. I then went around to view the other pieces of artwork including the plaster molds.... More

Based on Trip Advisor reviews, we decided to save our ceramics shopping for our day trip to Montelupo and our visit to La Galleria. I am so glad we did. What a beautiful selection of extremely high quality pieces! We just returned home and we hung the pieces we bought for ourselves. They look even more lovely than we imagined.... More

My wife is making ceramics, this is her hobby and her passion. Naturally, we visit ceramics manufacturers everywhere we travel. This includes Italy, of course, Tuscany in particular. But La Galleria in Montelupo is one of our strongest impressions to date. They have a few lines so unusual and beautiful it is hard to leave the shop! They are the... More

On vacation all the way from the USA, my husband and I ended up in Montelupo in search of Italian ceramics. We browsed a number of shops -- and knew this was THE one as soon as we walked in. The service, the fact that it is a family business, and that it had the most unique and beautiful pieces... More

Since our first visit to this shop three years ago, when we ordered several custom tiles, we have since moved on to larger pieces made to our order. We have a gorgeous wall clock and an antique roof tile painted in collaboration with their artists. Reasonably priced and custom made, how can you go wrong? The items were shipped without... More

We didn't go to Montelupo planning on buying pottery, but we ended up with a bunch. Matteo and his mother were in the shop and very helpful as we mixed and matched items until we were satisfied. We bought a complete set with serving pieces for 8 people at half the cost at home. The others in our group did... More

A fantastic place - beautiful ceramics and the nicest people. I have just bought plates and got it sent to Denmark. Two boxes, carefully packed, and the delivery only took two days. Everything was perfect and a very personal experience from start to end. Next year we´ll be back on our vacation in Toscana...:)

This is a "must do" on a trip to Tuscany. The town is not on most tourist maps but you should definately take time. My wife and I saw La Galleria on Trip Advisor and I went expecting a bit of a boring trip. It is not at all dull. Seriously, go there. Marco, one of the family who runs... More

I visited the shop again this week. The son who was 9 at the time of my last visit was working in the... More
