I have never had an opportunity like this and thought the tour was very well done. Please be aware that it's chilly, so dress warmly. Also wear good, practical shoes. The tour is fairly long with quite a bit of crouching needed for taller people...More

A step back in time to the slate mining industry, you walk through the caverns, listen to the tales of how it used to be, get some lovely shots with the camera and buy some cheese which is kept in the caverns to age!
