We just looked around and left. So many people sitting around in the huts making noise, drinking, have the stereo on full power and "singing" karaoke. Plastic dirt everywhere. No way to sit anywhere and enjoy the beach. The people from the houses around suggested to return on a non weekend day. We will do... It's not so bad since... More

Alegria is a beatiful beach, but is not good for swimming. Perfect if you want to relax for a while with nobody else around. Even if you find some tourists when you get there, the beach is quite long dont worry. It is good option to rent a motorbike in GL and do day trip stopping on the way there... More

This beach is a real jewel from Siargao Island. It's located at the North East of the Island in a secluded area. Due to its isolated location, this beach is so peaceful, quiet, clean and simply paradisiac! No buildings or hotels around, just sand, coconut trees, and a beautiful turquoise ocean awaiting for you. You basically own the beach. It's... More

We rode a motorcycle around almost all the island, and this is the best beach we found. You just have to cross a palm tree hood from the main circumferencial road.

the sand incline must be over 30 degrees and it's not a very firm ground so that walking can be a great challenge. You can go easily tired in your 20 meter walk. I tried to get as far as I could but have to make a couple of stops to relax my legs, coming back I have to go... More

as you come up from the south and hit Pacifico and come through the local towns you will notice all the great beaches this island has to offer here , a very well kept secret of the beautiful white sands to be found along the northern shores of the Pacific , and Alegria is just another jewel in the crown... Quiet secluded beach in Siargo ... Long beautiful picturesque beach far away from the touristic places ... The way going there , by motorbike is an adventure on itself , passing quiet little villages and stunning views ...

A short trip north of Burgos is this magnificent beach. Beautiful surroundings and clean clear water inside a reef fringed lagoon make this a great spot for a swim or picnic.
