The stingless jellyfish experience is a must-try! It's a two-hour boat ride to the place but the trip itself is a wonderful experience. Siargao is indeed a very serene place.

This is one of our road trip's leg and probably the most adventurous one. After departing from Misamis Oriental at midnight, we arrived at Hayanggabon port around 7:30am. I was surprised to see that the parking is safe for overnight stay and so glad to...More

Indeed this place is like another version of El Nido in Palawan with its beautiful coves, rock formations, caves and the one-of-a-kind jellyfish lake tour. Awesome!!! BUT The boat ride from Hayanggabon port could be expensive for a small group. We were just 3 in...More

Travelled here from Siargao on a local boat ( a noisy bumpy ride that takes two hours). It was worth it! This place is truely heaven on earth. The team who staff the lagoon tour were all super friendly and shepherded our group through the...More

It's all about outdoor wildlife adventure. For trekkers like me, you will definitely enjoy the activities which include snorkeling, spelunking, diving, rock climbing and boat paddling. Part of the adventure is when you make "sohot" the narrow entrance to the lagoon where everyone would creep...More

Endless time on a boat to travel back and forth for too few time to see things. The pricing is tremendous, they say it's still cheaper compared with other places in the world. That might be true but it's no other place it's still Siargao....More

I will preface this stating that I was not prepared when going to Sohoton, but am writing this to help out future Sohoton-goers. Sohoton is about a two hour boat ride from the GL pier and is a popular destination along with the Island Hopping...More

... The lagoon is fantastic. Beautiful place. But on the whole island Bucas Grande you cannot do a single step without being observed and to have to pay. The nature is already with the usual plastic. I suggest you go there soon to see it...More

calm, clean and it gives you a feeling of one with nature... this is where i saw the clearest water, devoid of stinky remnants of gasoline from pump boats, and trash... the 3 -hour bumpy boat ride is all worth it.. will visit again.

Farrrrr from General Luna! Three hours by outrigger boat that costs so much, with choppy Pacific Ocean waters in between. Once you get to the lagoon, serenity is yours but you get more choppy waters again on the way back... More
