It's not the easiest place to find, and I had to knock on the door (also the docent didn't speak any english, bummer), but the pieces are impressive and well displayed.

Chiavenna is such an interesting place - this collegiate is well worth a visit - peaceful with interesting murals.

The Museo del Tesoro has a fine collection of treasures that were collected by the local Catholic church. These include medieval metal work as well as ecclesiastical robes and art for churches. The metalwork is priceless. Check out the church next door. If you are...More
