Its a bit of a walk up a flight of stairs, but like everything in Old Mardin just seeing the old sandstone work is worth it.

It's the stones building (old university) with huge windows for a world. It's big part of history in middle of city. The view from there is amazing. It's quite area where you can stop for a minute in our fast life.

Thats a nice place with views and the history. When you come to place, you should get your picture taken as attached pictures. There are locals who try to take those picture with little amonth of money if you want

Zinciriye medresesi was an old traditional education center. It is used as language school of Harran univercity. You have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the center. You can see one of the local water fountain in the innergarden. Here is the story...More

It is now a college building but still open to tourists. do ask to climb to the roof where there is an unobstructed view of the city and upper mesopotamia

Not far from town. Must have a car or hire a driver. Can be visited along with Zafarqn.
