Were looking forward to this and had promised to go over a few years. Rained off a few weeks ago and the delay meant we missed the abundant azalea displays. Rhododendrons not yet out so, overall the place lacked colour. Probably very nice if you...More

You need at least a couple of hours to enjoy these beautiful grounds. Lots of slight in lines so not suitable for those who have physical, challenges but fine for wheelchair users. Also I would think quite boring for teenagers but young children will enjoy the...More

On a bright November afternoon, the autumn colours of the gardens are a magnet for photographers. Although there were lots of visitors, families included, the gardens did not lose their sense of peace. Walking around the lake, you can appreciate different aspects of the planting...More

Wonderful historic, formal Japanese Garden in the heart of the Pays de la Loire. If you have the opportunity to spend 2 - 4 hours here its an absolute must. Breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful.

Our second visit to this wonderful park, and just like 2 years ago, we spent 2 hours wandering the paths along the lake, admiring the artistry of the gardeners who tend to the plants and trees. And afterwards we visited the shop / museum to...More

Lovely day out. Fantastic range of plants and trees. We were staying at the chateau next door which that meant that we could get to our accommodation quickly after a full day.
