This is an old, partially restored fort on a hill. We parked at a sports centre and walked up a short road to the entrance (10 minutes uphill). There was no (legible) information about the history of the ruins, but a fantastic view of the...More

Disappointing ruins with no information (other than a map that is now illegible). Amazing views from an incredibly high point. If taking small children, make sure you keep a tight hold of them as there are big drops all around with no safety barriers. You...More

We parked the car by the sports hall and walked up the hill to the castle. It's a bit of a trek, but worth it for the view. More info boards would make the trip more interesting

this is not the best preserved castle that you would ever visit. It however does offer great view of Tabernas (from the caste). if you drive by, just have a quick stop, and perhaps 'google' a bit of history of the castle.

This castle overlooks the Sierra Nevada. You need to climb a little road . In the Castle there's not so much to see but the views are nice.

Quite steep to get up there, but worth the walk. The castle was a movie location of a few westerns. Not much left of the castle itself, but the view of the village and the desert is nice.
