We walked from the visitors centre (just follow the Badger signs) and had an enjoyable 45 minute walk up to the falls. It's not a difficult walk but there is no step free access to those of limited mobility will struggle. The views are amazing and I would love to visit again in autumn.

When combined with a visit to the World Heritage Site, very worth doing. We felt that the experience was actually enhanced by the light rain!

The typical Scottish weather cannot detract from the beautiful Falls of Clyde and the surrounding forests. Along the way flower are identified and described. Along the wooden paths and paths throughout the woods there is a feeling of finding some hidden gem of a place. Everyone that you pass seems relaxed and happy and taking in the wonderful atmosphere. Then... More

The walk from the New Lanark Visitor Centre up to the Falls of Clyde starts just beyond the childrens' play area, up a set of stone steps. It's a route I've done many times and on the most recent occasion I found the river to be at the lowest level I've ever seen due to the diversion of water to... More

This is local to me and a regular walk. Best done when the power station isn't taking the water out the river. The times are listed at New Lanark. Awesome when the water is in the river and waterfalls. Amazing in autumn particularly. Nesting Peregrine Falcons here too.

Fab walk. You can either do the easy walk up to the falls and then turn back. Or you can do the long circular walk, approx 3 hours. Gorgeous scenery.

A great morning walk, well worth the long up hill slog, the views are terrific, especially as the falls were in full spectacular flow.

Went here for a walk with my kids and we all loved it from the adventure wooden play park to the walk itself and the waterfalls. You can do a full circle right round but unfortunately we ran out of time but will def be visiting again especially with a picnic!

Unfortunately for us - the falls weren't at full flow when we visited but the walkways and wildlife guidance improve every time we visit

Whilst staying at New Lanark Mill hotel we walked to the Falls of Clyde. The river was low so the Falls weren't at their best but still a lovely walk. Occasionally the boardwalk can be flooded so need to walk a different route.
