First off, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly - in the pro shop, administration, as well as in the pub and restaurant. The golf course is stunning, with views of the water from nearly every hole (and the typical beachside winds along with it!)...More

Very good course but very hard as all links courses and has a number of blind shots - clubhouse very quaint and with the wind blowing found some of the holes very taxing - played well and scored 30 points of 9 hcap.

Beautifully maintained with stepped rough and fantastic bunkers. Great clubhouse full of history but without any condescension.

I can't think of anything not to love about Royal Porthcawl GC. The course has been on my bucket list to play for about 3 years - being a Welsh Man and Royal Porthcawl being rated the #1 course in the Principality, it would surely...More
