Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Embraced in all the winter whiteness, seeing some kind of dark formation appearing slowly and bigger in the horizon whilst driving was certainly jaw-dropping. Beautiful!

Very quick stop, if you only want to take photos it could take 10 minutes. But if you want to hike a little bit, there are a couple of paths you can take around 20-45 minutes long. You can actually walk all the way to the lighthouse and beach area. Great location for photos and breathtaking views.

There are plenty of beautiful rock formations and there is a stunning view. We really enjoyed the fact that there was a stop every 10 kilometers in the Snæfellsnes peninsula, it's worth to go around.

Each day we were in Iceland we made a list of favorite things we'd seen, and because everything there is so beautiful and dramatic, it felt like toward the end we were forgetting places we'd visited at the beginning of our trip. Looking back at photos from our vacation today, I will say that Londrangar -- which is an easy day trip from Reykjavik -- was beautiful even though the weather was awful. It's definitely worth a drive if you are short on time and are looking for day trips, or it would be worthwhile to include as a side adventure off the ring road.

There is an easy, level path that leads up close to the basalt cliffs but you can get a good sense of them from around the Visitor’s Center. You can also walk down to the Svortuloft lighthouse. There is also a small, kid-sized obstacle course/playground complete with zipline. It makes a nice place for a family to run around. We saw an Artic Fox here.

The trail is a bit treacherous in places, so it’s not suitable for little kids, but for those looking for a nice hike this is the place. Plenty of fascinating rock formations along the way, and tons of little interesting plants can be found along the trail.

Iceland is an incredible feast for geology fans. These two beautiful basaltic towers are a perfect illustration. This is a very romantic and beautiful walk at the end of the day in the summer

It's a really nice and easy stop on the way through the Snaefellsjökull National Park - you simply park the car and walk on the wooden pathway to two vista points - doesn't get any easier.

You can alternatively take a dirt pathway along the shoreline to get closer to this "natural sculpture" which I would have taken if we had more time that day - what I loved about it is that as you move and approach it from a right angle it actually resembles a ship/boat hitting a wave :)

TIP: there are some birds nesting here on the walls - no puffins but plenty other ones

Really interesting view of some amazing rock formations.

Very windy, so be careful near the edge, very steep drop off.

We kicked off our hike by stoppning by here. It was cool but i lacked further information about the formation. I read later that these formations are ruins from ancient volcanoes.
