Tinapa was supposed to be Calabar’s main attraction, but I guess the government has been doing a bad job of maintaining it. No activity at this place except the games arcade. And the hotel of course still exists.

I visited Tinapa in August and was really saddened at what the place is now. The place seems deserted with almost all the shops closed. The government needs to fully utilize the facility and make it more operational again!

The place is practically empty save for the Tinapa Lakeside Hotel, the water park, and the newly commissioned monorail. It is so sad that management has allowed such a lovely space rot.

Horrible place run down by the management and state government. The whole place looks like a haunted city. Was really disappointed because i really looked foward to seeing the famous Tinapa...Guess i got the memo late!

We got to Tinapa after our retreat and it was like a ghost town. Tinapa is full of potential and needs the right attention from the government.

It has a lovely view and beauty all over it. It's just so shallow cos you 'll be the only one there if you ever visit.

Visited the water park with friends and our children as part of our holidays and had a good time. The kids did have a swell time using the facilities to swim, from the lazy river, to the slides and wave pool. Refreshments were a bit...More
