Been here several times. Great place for singles, couples, families or groups. Always something new to see or smell. Plenty of seating dotted around. Highly recommend for some peace and relaxation.

Really nice gardens and amphitheater, can get a bit crowded on popular days when parking becomes an issue. Other than a walk round the pond there does not seem that much to see or do ( outside special activities such as Easter Egg hunt, etc)....More

A great place for quick walk to see Autumn colours and bird life. It’s popularity affects complexity of car parking but overall a very good experience

This visit left us both really angry which is not how one is supposed to feel when visiting a supposed historical site . The £9 entry per person is an absolute ripoff and there is nothing to see beyond a large pond and paths round...More

Hi Peter, I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your visit. The money that we receive from the entrance fee goes directly back into preserving these historic gardens. As it’s a 49 acre site, there’s plenty of maintenance to be done throughout the year...More
